When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using Cookies. “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
When the App requests or sends your data to web services you opt into, or to display data in your browser, this is done via a secure (SSL) web connection. Any of your data that we store to provide your services is on a secure MySQL database cloud servers with the highest security precautions, and accessible only to our web servers (for your viewing) and a select number of Invenire employees and contractors.
The App get the email address from Shopify upon installation of this App via the Shopify App Store. We use your email to provide customer support, and infrequently promote new products and services to you (only from Invenire). You can opt out of these emails. We promise never to share this email address with third parties. We do not store any email addresses linked with connected Google Accounts.
After an account is connected, Invenire uses the permissions to access your linked Google Analytics account and configure it to work well with your Shopify store. Specifically we use a set of automated scripts that will:
The App will not perform any destructive operations in your Google Analytics account, it will only create and configure new items (properties and profiles) which can be deleted from within your Google Analytics account at any stage.
The App requires the following permissions for connected Google Accounts:
The App uses Google's relevant APIs to create and configure web properties and profiles for the connected account. No personally identifiable information is stored as part of the connection and configuration process. After connection, the App stores the Google OAuth token to enable subsequent configuration requests. The token is deleted upon uninstallation of the App, or upon request from the user.
As part of the configuration process, the App needs to configure certain settings in Google Analytics that are not configurable via Google's APIs. In this case the App needs to grant access for Invenires support account to your selected Google Analytics account. The support account will then log in to perform the necessary configuration steps. After configuration is completed, or upon uninstallation of the App, the support user will be removed from your linked Google Analytics account within 24 hours and no longer have access.

Invenire will NOT disclose information, even in anonymized, aggregate or derivative forms, that is made available by our connections to third party email providers. We will act in accordance to and adhere to the privacy requirements outlined by Google's Requirements for Sensitive Scopes.
We use the personal information we collect from your store in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with Applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
